Job Summary
We are seeking a driven, creative, detail-oriented Bartender to join our team at Mileta. In this role, you will craft exceptional drinks, deliver outstanding customer service, and help curate and execute a beverage program. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and hospitality will help elevate our guests’ experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced environment. We have a small, closely-knit team and are looking for someone who is passionate and excited to join our beverage program.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to provide exceptional customer service and enhance their overall experience
- Manage bar operations efficiently using Toast POS systems for processing orders and cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates based on seasonal ingredients and guest preferences
- Handle cash and credit processing accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities during shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events such as banquets or catering functions
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of bartending/fine dining experience
- Familiarity with Toast POS system
- Strong time management skills and composure in high-volume service
- Extensive knowledge of classic cocktail specs, wine knowledge is a big plus
- Ability to provide highest-quality service for bar guests
- High standards, accuracy, and speed for service well
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially within fine dining or hospitality industry settings
- Ability to process cash and credit transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
