Siskiyou Springs Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking an experienced Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to lead our caregiving team and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a strong leader who leads by example, coaches and develops staff, holds team members accountable, and creates a positive, professional culture built on respect and teamwork.

What You'll Do
As the Resident Care Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical and caregiving operations of our community by:
- Supervising and leading Resident Assistants, Med Techs, and direct care staff.
- Providing coaching, mentoring, and hands-on training to ensure exceptional resident care.
- Promoting accountability, teamwork, and professionalism throughout the department.
- Ensuring compliance with California Title 22 regulations, company policies, and resident care standards.
- Conducting resident assessments and participating in care planning.
- Monitoring documentation, service plans, incident reports, and resident care records.
- Assisting with staffing, scheduling, orientation, and performance management.
- Supporting investigations involving resident care concerns and employee performance.
- Collaborating with physicians, home health, hospice agencies, pharmacies, and families.
- Serving as a role model by maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
- Assisting the Executive Director in maintaining licensing compliance and survey readiness.

Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, or a related healthcare setting.
- Experience managing and developing employees.
- Knowledge of California Title 22 regulations.
- Working knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices, including coaching, documentation, attendance management, corrective action, and workplace professionalism.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or holidays when needed.
Preferred
- RCFE experience is strongly preferred.
- Medication administration experience.
- CNA, Medical Assistant, LVN, or other healthcare certification is a plus.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR/ECP) preferred.
