Summary:
The Registered Nurse in Hemodialysis delivers direct patient care to patients receiving hemodialysis treatments based on Nursing Process.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Professional Nursing Program

BSN Preferred
-
Licensed to practice nursing in New York State

One (1) year of hemodialysis experience

Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
-
Basic Life Support Certification
-
ACLS Certification
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
- Good mental and physical health

Activity includes lifting, stooping, constant walking

Finger and hand dexterity and visual and aural and olfactory acuity to recognize changes in patients' condition

The ability to cope with stress and handle multiple priorities is required

Strong communication skills both verbal and written are required to maintain professional relationships.

Good interpersonal skills as well as professional attitude are required
