In addition, Caldera House includes Southcable Cafe, Corsa restaurant, Shin Shin restaurant, and two sports shops for all visitors of the resort to enjoy.
The server is responsible for all aspects of service at the F&B outlet they are assigned to (Corsa & Shin Shin)
Essential Job Functions:
- Welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner and guide them through any specials, take orders, remedy any problems
- Complete tasks related to the set up of the restaurant
- Anticipate guests needs and respond to any requests
- Assist and serve all guests in a timely manner
- Complete transactions, maintain a personal bank and cash out at the end of each shift
- Share knowledge about the menu items including wine and spirits
- Perform wine service
- Set and bus tables as needed
- Work as a team to assist any co-workers
Required Skills and Abilities:
- At 3 year of serving experience required (in a high volume upscale restaurant preferred)
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and work through the entire summer season
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry heavy plates, and move around through the entirety of the shift
- Have a warm and welcoming attitude in all circumstances
- Current TIPS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment is required
- Communicate fluently in English
