Goodhue Living is a 40 unit Assisted Living and Dementia Care that is in need of a maintenance assistant that will work 5 hours a day, Monday - Friday; if candidate is interested in full time; hours can be combined with other nearby sites to get to 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical work, including troubleshooting electrical equipment and repairing electrical systems using schematics and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Perform plumbing maintenance, repair, and system inspections to ensure optimal operation of plumbing fixtures and pipelines.
- Support carpentry tasks such as repairs to building interior structures, doors, windows, and cabinetry with hand tools and mechanical knowledge.
- Carry out maintenance painting projects for residential or building interior spaces to uphold aesthetic standards.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to log work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule routine inspections.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities, ensuring the proper use of tools like hand tools and adherence to facility safety guidelines.
Skills
- Strong experience with the ability to understand and work on equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC systems, and facilities equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, painting, and other equipment.
- Experience with maintenance and repair practices within residential or commercial settings.
- Ability to perform maintenance painting and building interior upkeep with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with residents or tenants regarding maintenance issues.
- Basic understanding of electrical work including electrical system repair and HVAC system troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques for various plumbing fixtures and pipelines.
- Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork while supporting ongoing facility operations.
