What You'll Do

Develop and implement engaging classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards to create a comprehensive educational curriculum.

Lead by example and empower teaching team success through modeling and coaching, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Plan and execute individual and group activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children, ensuring age-appropriate engagement.

Maintain open communication with parents through regular discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences, keeping them informed and involved in their child's learning journey.

Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met and maintained, upholding the highest standards of care and education.

Maintain a healthy and safe classroom environment, including hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards, ensuring the well-being of all children.

Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers, ensuring they follow planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards, while promoting teamwork and collaboration.

Accurately maintain records, forms, and files, ensuring efficient and organized record-keeping.

Develop and maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
WI Registry level 7 or higher
Prior early childhood experience
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid adds value to our team. We also welcome staff with WI Registry level 7 or higher. Previous experience in early childhood education is highly desirable.
