Foxhound Construction LLC is hiring a skilled Paint Laborer to work on commercial and residential projects across the Salt Lake Valley and greater Intermountain region. The Paint Laborer performs surface preparation, coating application, and finish work under the direction of the Foreman and Lead Painter.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Surface preparation: sanding, patching, caulking, taping, masking
- Hand and power tool prep (sanders, grinders, scrapers, wire wheels)
- Apply paint and coatings with brush, roller, and airless sprayer
- Interior and exterior repaints, cabinets, trim, and commercial finishes
- Stage materials and maintain a clean, safe, organized jobsite
- Follow direction from the Foreman and Lead Painter
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years paint experience (commercial or residential)
- Proficient with brush, roller, and airless sprayer
- Fluent English (jobsite comms with lead, foreman, and clients)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to jobsites
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work from ladders
- Willing to pass a background check
- Legal to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Epoxy and high-performance coatings experience
- Cabinet spraying and fine finish work
- SSPC/AMPP surface prep familiarity
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Pay: $20.00 per hour
