Job Description:
The Willowstone School is seeking a qualified Lead Teacher for our Young Toddler Classroom. Teachers will work as a team to guide the development of children as they learn in an environment of discovery and play. Expectations include organizing, supervising, and implementing lesson plans which support the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the classroom and effectively manage the assistant teachers
- Create and implement lesson plans
- Care for all daily activities of the children
- Communicate regularly with parents and families
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all children and staff and promote diversity and equity
- Ability to effectively manage the assistant teachers in your classroom
- Be a team player and enjoy your job!

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year as a lead teacher in a childcare center
- Strong work ethic
- Passion to inspire and make a positive difference in children’s lives
