In addition to our established leadership in wheelchair-accessible vehicles and adaptive driving equipment, we are expanding our home accessibility offerings—including stairlifts, ramps, transfer aids, and related solutions—to meet the growing needs of an aging population.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Controller to join our leadership team.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to ownership, the Controller will lead the company’s financial operations while overseeing key administrative and human resource functions.
Success in this role requires someone who combines strong accounting expertise with sound business judgment, operational curiosity, and a collaborative leadership style.

Primary ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership
· Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities.
· Prepare timely monthly financial statements and management reports.
· Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
· Monitor financial performance and identify trends affecting profitability.
· Build meaningful KPI dashboards that support better decision-making.
· Strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
· Coordinate relationships with outside CPA firms, tax advisors, lenders, and banking partners.
· Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to ownership.
Human Resources & Administration
· Oversee payroll administration and related reporting.
· Manage employee onboarding and HR documentation.
· Administer employee benefit programs.
· Evaluate health insurance options and recommend cost-effective solutions.
· Coordinate retirement plan administration.
· Support HR compliance and employee relations.
Business Leadership
· Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
· Recommend process improvements across departments.
· Help management make informed decisions through thoughtful financial analysis.
· Serve as a trusted business partner throughout the organization.

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and leadership potential.
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
· Five or more years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience.
· Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
· Experience overseeing payroll and employee benefits.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Preferred
· CPA designation or public accounting experience.
· Experience with auto dealership accounting or a related industry.
· Experience working within a privately owned or family-owned business.
· Demonstrated success improving financial processes and operating efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits
· Competitive salary: $95,000–$115,000, depending on experience and qualifications
