Job Summary
Alpha Martial Arts Academy and Parrish's BEST Afterschool are seeking a motivated, energetic, and positive Director to oversee the daily operations of our martial arts academy, afterschool program, and seasonal camps. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining our culture of excellence, developing staff, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring every student and family has an exceptional experience.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and passionate about leading people, solving problems, and creating a positive, high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop staff through coaching, training, and accountability.
- Oversee daily operations, scheduling, transportation, and program quality.
- Build strong relationships with parents, students, and the community.
- Handle parent concerns professionally and ensure excellent customer service.
- Support enrollment, retention, tours, and community outreach.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Complete administrative duties, reports, and operational tasks accurately and on time.
- Protect and promote the culture, standards, and reputation of Alpha and BEST.
- Work closely with ownership to improve systems, solve problems, and achieve company goals.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership or management experience required.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to positively lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Experience working with children, families, education, childcare, or martial arts is preferred.
- Valid driver's license; CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Level 2 Background Check mandatory
