Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage incoming payments, perform account reconciliations, and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. Your expertise in accounting systems and strong data analysis skills will help maintain the integrity of our financial records and support smooth revenue cycle management.
Responsibilities
- Process and monitor customer payments, ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger by comparing system records with customer statements
- Maintain accurate data entry within accounting software such as SAP
- Follow up on overdue invoices through professional negotiation and customer service skills
- Prepare detailed reports on accounts receivable status using Excel data analysis tools and formulas
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account analysis
Experience
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management within a corporate or non-profit setting
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial concepts
- Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP or similar systems
- Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation and analyze financial data using Excel formulas and analysis skills
- Excellent phone etiquette, negotiation skills, and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, revenue cycle management, and financial software tools

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
