American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring a minimum of one year of CVICU experience in a Level I trauma setting.

Pediatric patient population with cardiovascular and complex health conditions

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

13-week contract

Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact/eNLC) currently in hand
-
Current certifications required (must be issued by the American Heart Association): BLS and PALS

Minimum of 1 year of CVICU nursing experience

CVICU experience in a Level I trauma setting required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient caseload, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, regulating IV infusions and blood products, and coordinating with physicians and support staff

Involves patient and family education regarding care plans and hospital procedures throughout the stay and at discharge

Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may return after a 6-month separation period; extensions are limited to one time for a maximum total of 26 weeks

Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon offer acceptance — compliance deadlines are strictly enforced and non-negotiable

BSN from a Board-approved program is preferred
