Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles, including refrigerated trailers.
- Drive route-specific deliveries with precision, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies to guarantee on-time arrivals.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate load sharing and vehicle transfers, maintaining seamless communication throughout shifts.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with federal regulations.
- Respond promptly to any route or logistical issues, adjusting plans proactively to meet critical delivery deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles, especially with tractor-trailers or similar heavy vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred.
- Familiarity with operation of refrigerated trailers.
- Experience in freight handling including load & unload procedures; familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of route driving logistics and safety protocols for transporting freight across varied terrains.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy cargo and securing loads safely.

Pay: $1,400.00 - $2,400.00 per week
