Bilingual Spanish Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal – Clifton, NJ
Pay: $70,000–$75,000+ per year, based on experience

A busy and growing plaintiff personal injury law firm in Clifton, NJ is seeking an experienced Bilingual Spanish Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join its litigation team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already has hands-on experience working on personal injury litigation files and understands discovery, pleadings, deadlines, client communication, medical records, and case preparation.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling auto accident, premises liability, slip and fall, negligence, or other personal injury matters from the litigation stage through settlement, arbitration, mediation, or trial preparation.
Plaintiff personal injury experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with personal injury defense experience will also be considered if they have strong litigation experience and are comfortable working in a fast-paced plaintiff firm.
Required Qualifications

- Experience drafting pleadings, correspondence, subpoenas, certifications, and litigation documents

- Ability to work full-time, in-office in Clifton, NJ
- Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
Responsibilities
The Bilingual Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation, including:
- Managing active personal injury litigation files from suit through resolution
- Drafting pleadings, discovery demands, discovery responses, subpoenas, certifications, motions, and legal correspondence
- Communicating with Spanish-speaking clients regarding case status, treatment, appointments, discovery, and required documents
- Reviewing, organizing, and summarizing medical records, medical bills, police reports, expert reports, insurance documents, and liability materials
- Preparing discovery packages, arbitration statements, mediation submissions, settlement materials, and trial binders
- Calendaring and tracking litigation deadlines, court dates, discovery due dates, depositions, arbitration dates, and follow-ups
- Scheduling client meetings, depositions, IMEs, attorney conferences, and court-related appearances
- Communicating with courts, defense counsel, insurance adjusters, medical providers, experts, and clients
- Maintaining accurate case notes and keeping litigation files organized and updated
- Helping attorneys move cases forward efficiently and professionally
