Business Development Consultant — Industrial Field Services (1099)

HTS AmeriTek is a 40-year Gulf Coast-headquartered industrial field services company specializing in post-weld heat treating, bolting, field machining, and specialty mechanical services for the refining, petrochemical, and fabrication industries.
We're building a network of independent Business Development Consultants who are already embedded in the industry and have established relationships at refineries, chemical plants, and fabrication facilities.
Who we're looking for:
This isn't a traditional sales role. We're looking for experienced industry professionals — inspectors, turnaround coordinators, maintenance planners, QC specialists, or similar — who are already working in and around the plants where our services are needed. You know the people who make contractor decisions. You hear about upcoming turnarounds, shutdowns, and projects before they hit the bid boards. You're the person we want on our team.
What you'd do:
- Identify and refer heat treating, bolting, field machining, and mechanical services opportunities across your existing client relationships
- Make introductions between HTS AmeriTek and key decision-makers at client facilities
- Maintain relationships and gather project intelligence in your territory
- Represent HTS AmeriTek at client meetings and industry events as needed
What we're looking for:
- Established relationships at refining, petrochemical, or fabrication facilities
- Industry background in inspection, maintenance, turnarounds, or related field services
- API-510, API-570, CWI, or NDE certifications a plus but not required
- Self-starter who operates independently and knows how to open doors
- Professional reputation — you're someone clients trust and want to work with
Compensation:
Commission-based. Details discussed during the interview process.
