Responsibilities
- Operate pressing machines and garment care equipment to achieve crisp, professional finishes on shirts, suits, and other garments
- Handle dry cleaning processes with care, ensuring garments are cleaned thoroughly while maintaining fabric integrity
- Perform garment finishing tasks such as steaming, folding, and quality inspection to meet company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols using appropriate cleaning detergents and tools
- Assist with laundry services when needed, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding garments with attention to detail
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of garments or equipment safely and efficiently
- Process cash transactions accurately when accepting payments or providing receipts for services rendered
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality garment care is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of garment finishing techniques such as pressing, steaming, and garment care machine operation
- Familiarity with dry cleaning procedures and laundry services is a plus
- Ability to operate pressing machines safely and efficiently while maintaining fabric quality
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual handling skills for heavy lifting and precise garment finishing
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing payments accurately
- Good understanding of fabric care knowledge and cleaning protocols to ensure optimal garment preservation
- Excellent customer service skills to assist clients professionally and courteously in a fast-paced environment
