Job Description
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to join our wood drying operation. This position involves hands-on work with lumber and wood products, assisting with loading and unloading, stacking, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
No previous experience in wood drying is required. We are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload lumber and wood products.
- Stack and organize lumber for the drying process.
- Assist with moving materials throughout the facility.
- Monitor and maintain organized wood storage areas.
- Keep work areas clean and safe.
- Follow safety procedures and instructions.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment as trained.
- Assist other team members with daily production needs.
- Perform other general labor duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable.
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Able to lift and move lumber and materials as required.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
- Good attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and directions.
- Previous lumber, sawmill, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
