Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development and learning. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners, support their growth, and build strong relationships with families. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum goals
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Support children’s social-emotional growth through positive behavior management and classroom management techniques
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Assist with classroom activities such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods when applicable
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and assessments
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and special education accommodations
- First aid and CPR certification preferred; must be willing to obtain if not already certified
- Familiarity with standardized testing methods for early childhood assessment
- Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus
- Understanding of Montessori methods or experience in preschool teaching environments is advantageous

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
