DAJI CLUB is a new nightlife destination in downtown Alhambra, centered around social connection, electronic music, and dancing.
In ancient Chinese mythology, Daji is a legendary symbol of extraordinary beauty, sensuality, mystery, and untamed freedom. Named after this iconic figure, DAJI is our registered U.S. trademark and the inspiration behind a nightlife brand that celebrates confidence, individuality, attraction, and self-expression.
At DAJI CLUB, we are creating an energetic and welcoming space where guests can connect, enjoy music and drinks, dance freely, and express themselves.
We are hiring two energetic, reliable, and responsible Lead Bartenders to join our opening team. Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates who are outgoing, dependable, quick to learn, and comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pre-opening preparation, organization, setup, and training
- Independently complete opening and closing procedures
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and nonalcoholic beverages
- Provide friendly, energetic, and professional service to guests
- Verify customer identification and comply with California alcohol-service regulations
- Accurately process cash and credit-card transactions using the POS system
- Restock and organize liquor, beer, mixers, glassware, and other bar supplies
- Monitor inventory and report low-stock items, equipment problems, and unusual incidents to ownership
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bar, service area, and storage area
- Follow established drink recipes, pricing, cash-handling, and safety procedures
- Play approved music and manage the venue’s playlist as directed
- Cooperate with other team members during busy periods
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Fluent English is required; Mandarin Chinese or Spanish is preferred
- Reliable, responsible, punctual, and able to work independently
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with guests
- Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Available to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Previous bartending, bar, restaurant, hospitality, cashier, or customer-service experience is preferred
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling is preferred
- Valid California RBS certification is preferred; candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain the required certification
- Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move bar supplies
Pay and Benefits
- Hourly base pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Tips are paid in addition to the hourly base wage
- Paid training
Schedule
- One full-time position averaging approximately 35–40 hours per week
- One part-time position averaging approximately 28 hours per week
- Evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday availability is required
