To work collaboratively with key stakeholders assuring compliance with all rules and regulations governing drug management and benefits. All functions are performed under the supervision of the Residency Director.
- Provides pharmaceutical care and medication therapy management for complex patients as part of primary care practice utilizing the electronic health record
- Responsible for providing medication therapy management and collaborative disease management services to help patients manage their disease states
- Provides pharmacy services both face to face and telephonic
- Additional responsibilities may also involve training of University of Rhode Island PharmD candidates
- Performs other various job-related duties as assigned
- Advanced study in pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree program.
- Required to attain a RI Pharmacy License within 90 days of the start date of the residency
- Ability to work collaboratively

- Ability to assess and differentiate priorities
- Able to maintain confidentiality with all aspects of information including patient data in accordance with the company's philosophy and policy as well as state and federal regulations

- Proficiency with computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel and Web-based applications)
Knowledge of pharmacy information systems, automated dispensing technology and personal computers including word processing, database and spreadsheet design.
Performs independently within department policies and practices.
