We are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate Director of Wellness to join our team at The Blake at Carnes Crossroads. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about ensuring exceptional resident care, supporting team members, and cultivating a wellness culture rooted in dignity, safety, and joy.

Primary Responsibilities of the Director of Wellness
- Oversee and ensure effective daily operations within the wellness department
- Supervise nursing and personal care staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and accountability
- Assess residents’ health, functional abilities, and psychosocial status while proactively managing care needs
- Ensure superior clinical care and promote a service-oriented, resident-centered approach
- Maintain full compliance with all Federal and State guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company standards
- Support staffing needs—including scheduling, hiring, training, and evaluating clinical team members
- Partner with leadership to maintain a safe, joyful, and wellness-focused environment
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident success
Requirements
Education, Experience & Certifications
- A caring heart and genuine desire to serve others
- Current state LPN license required
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Experience with hiring, budgeting, and schedule management
- Current CPR certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Current First Aid certification (preferred)
- Experience in Assisted Living, Long-term Care, or dementia care (preferred)
- Flexibility to assist across various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
