Key Responsibilities
As a critical and meaningful role within the Richelieu organization, the Inventory Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring accuracy and appropriate processing of shipments from our warehouse as well as incoming deliveries and inventory. This person will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager and our supply team to ensure precise and updated inventories are maintained. This position is also responsible for the coordination of materials, processes, and activities to ensure the security, promptness, and accuracy of outgoing shipments to our customers.
- Monitor inbound and outbound inventory levels. Roll out action plans to support peaks
- Coordinating inventory cycle count as per program guidelines and schedule
- Investigate inventory variances and identify root causes. Work with the team to implement corrective actions
- Quarterly review item information and align item slotting plan accordingly
- Assist in day to day operations
What We Are Looking For
- Experience with cycle count, inventory management, delivery and shipment coordination
- Understanding of supply chain fundamentals is helpful
- Building Materials, or directly related, industry experience is a plus
- Demonstrated experience with inventory (control) systems, shipping, receiving, practicing good judgment, reliability, and responsibility is necessary for success
- Team-oriented, shows initiative, and able to work with little to no supervision
- Strong sense of drive and prioritization of customer service as a core company value
- AS400 experience preferred but not mandatory
- High School graduate or equivalent
