Job Overview
Greetings! We are currently looking for new staff to join our team here at Johnny Rockets, located at the Mall of America! Since 1992, we have been located here on the south food court, providing both dine-in and takeout service. We are currently in need of front-of-house positions, which would be cashiering and serving.
We do our best here to provide an exceptional experience for our guests here, and have many frequent regulars that have come from years and years of visiting our store.
If this is your first time working in the service industry, we still encourage applications, as we do a lot of on-the-job training, and many of our other staff members have had this restaurant as their first job too.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using our Aloha POS system
- Handle retail sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and processing payments with POS systems.
- Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and ensuring food safety compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed, ensuring smooth operation during busy hours.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred; however, all applications are welcomed
- Bilingual in English / Spanish is being highly sought and considered
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
