Mi Casa Child Centers – Castroville
Mi Casa Child Centers is seeking a passionate and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to join our brand-new Castroville location! We are looking for an individual who loves working with infants, building strong relationships with families, and creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
As an Infant Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for the overall management of the classroom, implementation of age-appropriate activities, and ensuring the health, safety, and development of each child in your care.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
- Maintain accurate daily records and communication with families
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers assigned to the classroom
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and company policies
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Qualifications
- Experience working with infants preferred
- CDA, Associate's Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong leadership and classroom management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with families and team members
- CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
