Security Officer Access Control Assistant
As a Security Officer Access Control Assistant in Independence, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including production, warehouse, shipping and receiving, and perimeter locations, as directed by site requirements.

Support visitor management and delivery access processes by maintaining logs, issuing temporary access materials when applicable, and communicating clearly with personnel regarding site access expectations.
Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
