Responsibilities include:
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the dining room, including opening, and closing procedures, staffing, and scheduling.
- Lead and inspire a team of front-of-house staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to maintain our high service standards.
- Maintain an atmosphere of sophistication and elegance within the restaurant, ensuring that ambiance, décor, and lighting align with our brand identity.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, resolving any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory and ordering of dining room supplies, including tableware, linens, and other necessary items.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as all company policies and procedures.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring their needs and preferences are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to review performance, provide feedback, and communicate any necessary changes or updates.
- Managing the bar and bartenders
- Promoting/Branding Delta King
- Ordering and managing inventory
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the dining room, banquets and bar, including opening, and closing procedures.
- Manage liquor ordering, inventory control, staffing, and scheduling.
Qualified candidates must have:
- 3-5 years of restaurant supervisory experience, with a focus on dining room and people management. Required
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team. Required
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience for guests. Required
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent food and beverage knowledge; Good understanding of wine & spirits and a willingness to learn is required. Required
- Computer competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Advanced knowledge of POS system (Toast) and OpenTable reservations systems (preferred).
- Knowledge of training techniques. Required
- Knowledge of Board of Health rules and regulations, county liquor laws and alcohol awareness program required.
