Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve a polished appearance.
- Manage janitorial tasks including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as cleaning patios or outdoor furniture, and maintaining outdoor areas.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury.
- Support housekeeping management by following schedules, documenting completed tasks, and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
Skills
- Applicant must be 18+ years of age
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Experience with laundry processes and managing household or hotel housekeeping operations.
- Familiarity with outdoor work tasks and maintaining outdoor spaces is a plus.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete duties within designated timeframes.
