Job Summary

Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation practices.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed during peak hours or special events.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of culinary practices and food service operations.
- Ability to sanitize work areas effectively to maintain health standards.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent upselling skills to promote menu items effectively.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures in the food industry.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members positively.
