In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires physical stamina and a strong work ethic, as you will be working in a dynamic environment alongside skilled tradespeople.
If you have experience in plumbing or drop ceilings that is a plus!
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites before and after construction activities.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety.
- Help with the installation of structures, fixtures, and other construction elements as directed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Strong physical endurance and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and tools is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with coworkers and supervisors.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
