Cajun Kitchen in Goleta seeks an energetic and cheerful host to join our Hollister team for a weekend-morning position.
The host's duties primarily focus on ensuring the guests have a positive experience when entering the restaurant.
The host's duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Manage the wait list and write down the party's names/seating preferences/size
- Guide guests to their table
- Provide patrons with wait-time estimates and seating area restrictions.
- Handing customers food and drink menus
- Optimizing seating arrangements to move the wait list forward
- Rolling Silverware
- Assist the bussing team in clearing and cleaning tables.
- Roll silverware
- Some responsibilities and duties are subject to change.
Host skill requirements:
- A friendly and welcoming attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Fast-paced work ethic
- A loud voice to call out the party's names
- Physically able to work 6-7 hours on their feet
Hosts availability
- Saturday, Sunday, & Holidays
- 9 am - 2 pm
