Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

Job Details

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2+ years of recent experience and a NJ or compact RN license.

Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Patient ratio of 1:6
RN and monitor tech share telemetry monitoring responsibilities on the unit
Every other weekend required
No call requirements
Floating required among 5 hospitals within skillset (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL)
Block scheduling not permitted

Active RN license (NJ or Compact) required, in hand at time of consideration
Nursys verification must be dated within 2 weeks of consideration reflecting an active NJ or Compact license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, with BLS not expiring within 30 days of assignment start
Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing, on a PC only, with a maximum of 2 attempts
Must complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing
Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit

RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; requests after submission will not be accepted, and no RTO is allowed during the first week of the assignment
Coverage required for 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday
Navy blue scrubs required
COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions
First-time travelers accepted but not preferred
Candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital are subject to a reduced local rate
