Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software products using Agile methodologies.
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable systems utilizing microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Drive system design decisions focusing on performance, security (RBAC), scalability, and maintainability across diverse technology stacks including Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, and.NET.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development plans.
- Establish best practices for software engineering including version control (GitHub, SVN), CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and adherence to design patterns.
- Promote continuous improvement by implementing innovative solutions using modern tools like React Express, SQL/MySQL databases, Linux environments, and quantum engineering principles where applicable.
- Ensure the team adopts secure coding standards and maintains compliance with industry regulations related to APIs, RBAC, and system security.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in developing complex web applications and backend systems with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure management including cloud services (AWS, Azure), Linux environments, and network security protocols.
- Extensive knowledge of software development frameworks such as Ruby on Rails,.NET, React Express, and front-end/back-end integration techniques.
- Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, system design for system development, and application development best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub and SVN; experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Solid understanding of databases including SQL/MySQL; experience with application scaling strategies using scalable systems concepts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $78,488.83 - $98,610.20 per year
