Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing to ensure spotless surfaces
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to all safety protocols and health regulations during cleaning procedures
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing floors
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or industrial cleaning practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues
