Harders & Bradford Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Life Insurance Producer to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will help individuals and families protect what matters most by presenting and selling term life, whole life, and related protection products. You'll work primarily from warm opportunities within our existing book of personal and commercial lines clients — no cold-calling grind — while also developing referrals and new prospects of your own. Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Active Life & Health insurance license prior to start date (required)
Minimum 1 year of life insurance sales experience in an agency, carrier, or financial services environment (preferred)
Working knowledge of term, whole life, and universal life products, including riders and conversion features (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a consultative, client-first sales approach
Self-motivated with strong follow-up discipline; ability to manage a pipeline of prospects and pending applications independently
Comfortable discussing sensitive topics such as health history and family financial needs with professionalism and empathy
Experience with agency management systems and carrier quoting platforms (preferred)
Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Present, quote, and sell life insurance products — including term, whole life, and universal life — to individual and family clients
Work warm leads generated from the agency's existing personal and commercial lines book, including cross-sell opportunities identified by account managers during renewal reviews
Conduct needs-based analyses to recommend appropriate coverage amounts and product types for each client's situation and budget
Guide clients through the application and underwriting process, including field underwriting questions, medical exam scheduling, and follow-up through policy issue and delivery
Follow up on pending applications and keep clients informed throughout underwriting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and activity notes in the agency management system
Educate clients on how life insurance fits into their broader financial protection picture, including riders, conversion options, and beneficiary designations
Collaborate with account managers and producers to identify and pursue life opportunities across the agency's book
Participate in agency sales meetings and carrier training to stay current on products and underwriting guidelines
