Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Porter to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, assisting with vehicle movement, parking, and overall guest services. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure a smooth experience for our customers while supporting the dealership’s daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely move and park vehicles in designated areas, including parking zones, ensuring proper placement and security.
- Greet guests warmly, providing excellent customer service and assisting with vehicle-related inquiries or needs.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as loading or unloading vehicles or equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized outdoor work environment, ensuring all areas are safe and presentable.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to coordinate vehicle movements and address any concerns promptly.
- Support delivery drivers by helping with vehicle transfers or other logistical tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or retail environments is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; manual transmission experience is a plus.
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers.
- Dealership experience or familiarity with automotive operations will be highly valued.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks regularly throughout the shift.
- Prior delivery driver experience or cashiering skills that demonstrate reliability and customer focus are beneficial.
