Teachers Needed:
Acro
Preschool Dance Instructor (ages 2-6)
Leaps, Jumps and Turns
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach dance class in your assigned style
- Create choreography for our annual recitals
- Manage classroom behavior
- Professional, positive, and team - oriented attitude
- Communicate regularly with the leadership of the studio
- Participate in studio events, staff meetings and professional development activities
- Create lesson plans tailored for student growth aligned with our assigned curriculum
- Provide positive feedback and constructive criticism for progress reports for dancers
Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience in a dance studio or education setting
- Ability to teach various levels
- Strong knowledge of dance technique with the ability to break down movement for all learning styles
- Punctuality
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and Director
- Professional appearance
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Be able to pass a background check
- Have a degree or degree seeking
Acro Instructor Qualifications:
- Teach beginner to advanced acro skills with proper progressions
- Being able to follow curriculum based instruction and tailor classes as need for skill levels
- Provide appropriate spotting and safety practices
- Help dancers build confidence while progressing through acro skills
- Experience teaching tumbling or acrobatic dance
Preschool Instructor Qualifications:
- Teach creative movement, Ballet fundamentals, and introductory dance skills to ages 2-6
- Ability to keep young dancers engaged through imagination, music, movement and age - appropriate instruction
- Create a fun and nurturing environment that helps young dancers develop a love for dance
Pay is determined by experience and skill.

Pay: $29.56 - $32.87 per hour
