Little Steps Program Director
The Dance Company is looking for a special someone to lead our Little Steps Play School Program.
This isn't just a teaching position,it's an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with young children, create magical first learning experiences, and become an important part of a community that values creativity, kindness, and connection.
We're searching for someone who believes that children learn best through play, movement, music, imagination, and the arts. Someone who sees the wonder in every child and is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and joy-filled environment where little learners can thrive.
Position Details
Schedule- Mid September through Mid June (closed school vacation weeks)
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
- 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Plus additional paid planning and administrative time
Compensation:
- From $25+ based on experience and qualifications
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Experience in Early Childhood Education
- Experience Leading programming and developing curriculum
- A genuine love and passion for working with young children
- A warm, patient, and positive personality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience or interest in arts-integrated learning (dance, music, theater, visual arts, or creative movement is a huge plus!)
- The ability to work collaboratively with families and our incredible team
- Ability to set up and breakdown as our student transforms into a dance studio by night.
- Can lead a small team of assistants in the classroom.
