We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while expertly preparing and serving food and beverages. Our hours are
- Wednesday & Thursday: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Friday & Saturday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
We are located at a marina, and weekends are especially busy. Working nights and weekends is required, though some day shifts may be available.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems (We currently use Spot On), ensuring timely delivery
- Mix and serve drinks responsibly, adhering to food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, serving, and catering setups for various events including banquets.
- Engage with guests proactively to upsell menu items, promote specials, and enhance overall customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a server or bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems; strong basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with banquet service, catering events, or retail math is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment such as a nightclub or bar setting
