Position Title: High School Mathematics TeacherReports to: Middle/High School PrincipalPrimary Function: To assume all responsibilities for the institutional program including planning and delivering the curriculum and managing the students in the classroom.Funded by: General Budget Qualifications: Certified in Massachusetts in the subject areaKnowledgeable about the Curriculum FrameworksExperience teaching the subject preferred Responsibilities: Teach five sections of math;Use related computing software and possess appropriate computer skills;Use appropriate guidelines, curriculum, instructional strategies to continually develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum;Collect and document accurate information/data on student progress using tools and assessments rooted in appropriate curriculum standards;Complete all paperwork and reports required in a thorough and timely manner, including grades and weekly updating in online gradebook;Work collaboratively with members of the math department.
