Job Description
The purpose of being a Production Worker at this level is to learn and train in the basic understanding of all machine specific operations.
Production Workers have the basic ability to set up and operate a variety of machines to produce precision parts with immediate supervision by a certified operator (level Il or above).
Follow established standard work under immediate supervision in efforts to obtain certification within 120 days.
Production Workers follow and comply with established standard work practices under immediate supervision.
The Production Worker will typically refer problems or deviations to more experienced operators including Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Engineers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Learn how to set up and operate machinery according to standard work.
Learn how to make machine adjustments
Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Understand and follow quality testing techniques
Learn how to inspect products using precision gauges, measuring instruments and equipment
Demonstrate proficiency in manufacturing documentation and labor transactions.
Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and Cl functions as set by your leader and position.
Actively participates in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety related activities
Working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business Some Holiday hours may be required based on business need
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
