Job Description
The Inventory Control Coordinator oversees inventory management activities within assigned areas of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, ensuring the efficient flow of supplies to support clinical operations. This role is responsible for inventory control, replenishment, cycle counting, stock management, and maintaining appropriate storeroom inventory levels.
The Coordinator conducts inventory audits, monitors inventory accuracy, manages backorder issues, supports receiving and staging for large facility projects, and assists with equipment asset management. This position also analyzes inventory data, develops reports and queries, and collaborates with supply chain leadership to drive data-informed decisions, improve operational efficiency, and resolve complex supply-related issues. Strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Logistics, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, logistics, or a related healthcare environment. Candidates should possess experience with inventory control, replenishment processes, data analysis, and problem-solving, along with strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
