Steel Coated Epoxy Floors is a locally owned, premium concrete coating company serving Northern Utah. We specialize in high-quality epoxy garage floors that look incredible and stand up to real life. We’re growing fast and investing heavily in local marketing—both digital and grassroots—to expand our brand and help more homeowners upgrade their garages.
Why this role exists
We’re hiring a hands-on Marketing Assistant to own grassroots marketing channels (door hangers, mailers, partnerships, events, etc) and pioneer new ways to market our product and grow brand recognition. You’ll track results rigorously, iterate quickly, and help build the playbook as you go.
What you’ll do
Own core local channels:
- Plan and coordinate door-hanger drops (routes, runners, counts, quality control).
- Manage Valpak/EDDM creative, offer tests, and on-time submissions.
Track spend, leads, CPL, bookings, sold jobs, and ROI
Pioneer new channels & visibility:
- Build partnerships
- Stand up referral/affiliate programs and measure their performance.
- Test brand visibility ideas
- Propose pilots with a clear hypothesis, budget, and success metric; run them, report results, then scale or kill.
Light creative & ops:
- Update offers/graphics in Canva/Adobe; handle basic photo/video of installs or events.
- Coordinate with part-time flyer runners; manage inventory and reorders with vendors.
Monitor (not manage) agency channels (Facebook Ads, Google LSA) and report weekly on CPL/lead quality.
Reporting & documentation:
- Deliver a weekly 1-page scorecard (spend, leads, CPL, bookings, ROI, pilot pipeline).
- Document SOPs for every repeatable process so the system gets easier over time.
What you’ll bring
- Self-starter, bias to action. You love taking an idea from zero → launched → measured → improved.
- Organized & data-curious. Comfortable with spreadsheets, tracking numbers, and learning a CRM
- Creative communicator. Basic design skills (Canva/Adobe) and clear, persuasive writing.
- People person. Confident in building relationships with local partners.
- Hands-on. Willing to do light field work (drop materials, set up small events, snap photos).
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed for approved field tasks)
Nice to have (but not required):
- Experience with home-services marketing, Valpak/EDDM, or community partnerships
- Light photo/video skills
Schedule & location
- On-site in Cache Valley, UT with occasional field work; standard business hours with occasional evenings/weekends for events as needed.
