Nationally Ranked Quality Program opening a new location! This is a full continuum of care position in the Operating Room, ICU, Pre/Post and clinic!
The candidate is required to be proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting experience and a strong first assisting skills in the operating room in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery. This role offers a dynamic blend of operating room responsibilities, perioperative patient management, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting for coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) procedures
- First assist in cardiovascular surgical cases
- Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care management
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current California PA license or eligibility
- NCCPA certification required
- Demonstrated experience in endoscopic vein harvesting required
- Prior experience in cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery
