Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist (PTA's considered as well) with a strong interest in pelvic health. This role is full time (up to 40 hours/week). You will provide one-on-one, 45-minute patient sessions, supported by mentorship and a strong referral base. Ideally seeking a pelvic PT or OT, but open to an orthopedic PT with interest in pelvic floor therapy or a PTA with some pelvic health experience.
Role Description
The Physical/Occupational Therapist will:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with pelvic floor–related conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide patient education and track progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Contribute to clinic growth through occasional community education, workshops, or content development
Qualifications
- Strong manual therapy and orthopedic assessment skills (hip and pelvic floor focus)
- Knowledge and experience in pelvic floor rehabilitation across diverse populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Current NC Physical Therapy licensure and CPR certification
- Passion for patient-centered care and professional growth (mentorship available if new to pelvic health)
