US Transport is looking for experienced Mechanics.
MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS.
DOT and Bulk Trailer experience a plus but not a requirement.
- Perform work as outlined in repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform needed repairs
- Communicate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts/supplies
- Advise Lead Mechanic or Shop Supervisor if additional work is needed; if work on repair
order is not needed, or if job will take longer than expected
- Document all work performed
- Thorough understanding of electrical systems, sensors, wiring and ECU’s
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- 2 – 4 years’ experience in a “full service” maintenance facility preferred
- Must be able to work independently and stay focused on job assigned
- Must possess strong trouble shooting skills to assess needed repairs
- Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
