Position Overview:
We’re seeking positive, energetic team players to join our morning store crew. In this role, you’ll help deliver a fun and efficient experience for every guest. Whether you’re preparing desserts or assisting at the register, your contributions will help keep morning operations running smoothly. If you enjoy a fast-paced setting and have a sweet tooth, this role could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decorate cookie cakes with icing, toppings, and designs
- Portion and shape dough, assisting with specialty orders as needed
- Prepare and serve desserts with accuracy and attention to detail
- Bake items using in-store equipment such as ovens
- Keep all work areas clean and organized, including ice cream and cookie stations
- Follow all food safety and cleanliness standards
- Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Provide friendly, helpful service and assist guests with questions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Ideal Candidate:
- Friendly, approachable, and enjoys engaging with guests
- Comfortable suggesting products and promoting specials
- Able to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required
- Willing to learn or has basic cake decorating skills
- Works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Comfortable with basic math and handling transactions
- Able to stand for extended periods (up to 7 hours)
- Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs
