Duties
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts with attention to detail and presentation.
- Decorate cakes and pastries.
- Package baked items efficiently, maintaining quality and freshness for retail or wholesale purposes.
- Assist in food production and food preparation tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes, seasonal offerings, and innovative dessert concepts.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.
Requirements
- Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of cake decorating and dessert creation.
- background in food handling, food safety practices, and kitchen operations a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge in baking.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
