NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking an Mechanical Assembly Technician for a Eugene Based company that assembly heavy equipment that serves the mining industry. This is an evaluation to hire opportunity and full-time position with a significant amount of overtime.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years mechanical repair or assembly.
- Experience in assembling mechanical, hydraulic, and some electrical systems.
- Knowledge of circuitry, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other power transmission equipment.
- The ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical and electronics blueprints and designs.
- Good shop math skills.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
- Overhead crane experience.
- The ability to read BOM’s and do quality checks on finished machinery.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. on a semi-consistent basis.
- Can stand, stoop, bend, push and pull for a 10-hour shift.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Mig welding experience is preferred.
- A can-do attitude and work effectively and efficiently with other team members, the customer, and with the engineering staff.
- A safety-first attitude.
- Great attendance, punctuality, and work ethic.
JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Eugene, OR
- Weekend Flex: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 5am-5pm
- Swing Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2am w/OT on Fridays
- Pay Rate: $20/h to $23/h
- $2.00/h Swing Shift Differential
- $3.00/h Weekend Shift Differential
