Job Summary: We are an Assisted Living Facility looking for a Full Time - 2nd shift CNA 2-10PM to join our growing team. The right candidate will have a strong desire to serve others in a Long Term Care setting. The day-to-day duties of this role include helping residents with mobility around the facility, assisting with meals, assisting with ADLs. Willing to work every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly residents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
- Assist residents with ambulation
- Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting residents with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment is preferred but not required
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- Active CNA license listed in the NC Nurse Aid Registry
- Take pride in providing high quality care
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
