American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical travel position in Texas, specializing in orthopedic and neuro/spine patient care on a night shift schedule.

Hospital-based Medical Surgical unit with a heavy orthopedic and neuro/spine patient population

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Patient ratio of 1:4

13-week contract

No on-call requirements

No floating required

Block scheduling is not available

Local candidates are welcome to apply

Active TX RN license or multistate compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Valid driver's license required

Minimum 1–2 years of acute care experience as an RN required

Candidates who can work Fridays when needed are strongly preferred

Flexible scheduling with no scheduling restrictions is strongly preferred

First-time travelers are not preferred for this position

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
